Prazi USA began operations in 1989 in Southern California with their flagship tool, the Beam Cutter. Modeled after a high end European machine saw, the Prazi Beam Cutter was created after many prototypes, field tests and refinements.
Armed with his first production run of one hundred Beam Cutters, Bob Cumings, the company's founder, set off to bring his innovative new tool to the market. After numerous demonstrations, trade shows, long hours and hard work, Bob had successfully established the Beam Cutter among industry professionals. Word spread, orders came in and Prazi USA was on the map.
Two years later, Prazi USA moved to Plymouth, Massachusetts and established operations in a 2000 sq. ft. warehouse not far from Plymouth Rock. A second product, the Drill Mate, was developed and added to their line -- and sales continued to grow. Inventors, tradesman and entrepreneurs began to contact Prazi USA for marketing assistance with new, innovative tools that could be developed with Prazi's expertise. As a result, the Prazi USA product line has expanded continually with unique and innovative products.
Having outgrown their first warehouse, Prazi USA began construction on a new 7500 sq. ft. facility in Plymouth and relocated operations in January 2000.
